We operate the Mayne Island Daycare and a suite of family programs at the Mayne Island Family Place at 493A Felix Jack Road. |
Our Constitution
- The name of the society is Mayne Island Early Childhood Society.
- The purposes of the Society are:
b. To advance education by offering educational programming on topics related to health, safety and wellbeing for infant to preschool age children on Mayne Island;
c. To advance education by offering educational programming on topics related to health, safety and wellbeing for parents of young children on Mayne Island;
d. To relieve poverty by offering subsidized daycare to low-income families on Mayne Island;
e. To receive gifts, bequests, fund and property, and hold, invest, administer and distribute funds and property for the purposes of the Society, for such other organizations as are “qualified donees” under the provisions of the Income Tax Act (Canada) and for such other purposes and activities as are authorized for registered charities under the provision of the Income Tax Act (Canada); and
f. To do all such other things as are incidental and ancillary to the attainment of the foregoing purposes.
